I'm Aella, and this is my writers' blog!
Ever since I began writing like 5 years ago, i've slept on this idea until recently, when my fanfics started gaining traction. If you're wondering how i got here, here's a timeline:
- 2019-20: Hamilton fandom (yes, i was that kind of theatre kid, but looking back on it i would've never started writing if it wasn't for the small community of writers that hyped my horrible writing up on Wattpad. I remember only completing one book on there and the plot was so bad that i ended up unpublishing it when I left the fandom)
- 2020-2021: Danganronpa (this fandom was a social experiment at points, depending on who you ran into.) This was also around the time I found out about the Godsend that is ao3 and wrote my first fanfic, 'walking on a dream' . It wasn't my best piece of work, but since it has been the only work i've worked on without having a substantial amount of time off, i'll give it a pass for now. Other works i wrote during this time were part of a series i tried to launch (and failed to commit to, due to mock exams and other issues within my life, which proves the existence of the ao3 writer curse for me lol)
- 2022-22: Cookie run fandom. I don't know what possessed me to write about cookies, but the dynamic these two cookies had was something. 'their plastic hearts' was a concept that was good, but the timing wasn't right, as the two chapters it currently has were products of procrastination between the same aforementioned mock exams and writers' block.
- 2022-now (2023): As of November 2023, all of my works on ao3 within this year have been for the Genshin Impact fandom, which I swore to myself i wouldn't write but did anyways. It started off as a gift for a good friend of mine ( 'denial is a river in egypt, your son is gay') but ended up in about 6 other fanfics written, the most recent, as of now, being 'mourning flowers at erinnyes', which is a gift to a writer who wrote a really good work for the ship pairing.
- Other fandoms I wish to try and write for include Reverse:1999 as i really love angst and maybe Honkai Star Rail when i get the chance to actually play it (genshin has taken up so much of my phone storage i can't run it without my phone exploding)
In conclusion, i've written about 18 fanfics (most of them unfinished) over the course of 5 years, so here's my somewhat deserved blog to rant about it.
I'll talk more about myself later, but i have like 2 maths tests tomorrow so ima just leave it here :)
